Trade records no one can rewrite

Every document and every step on a shipment is permanent and provable: no one, Sila included, can alter or remove it without it showing.

A file's history

How the record holds

  1. 1Fingerprinted when signed

Change one character and it no longer matches.

  2. 2Chained, step by step

Each step carries the fingerprint of the one before, so none can be removed unseen.

  3. 3Anchored to a public blockchain

Only fingerprints go on the chain, never trade data.

  4. 4Provable by anyone

On Sila Verify, without taking Sila's word for it.

Protection at every layer

Audited hosting

Sila runs on hosting independently audited to SOC 2 Type II and ISO/IEC 27001: Render for the application, Neon for the database. Sila's own ISO 27001 certification is in progress; its certificate will be published once held.

Encrypted in transit and at rest

TLS 1.2 or later on every connection, data encrypted where it is stored, and secrets sealed with AES-256.

Secure sign-in

Passkeys or a second factor, password policy, lockout after repeated failures, and sessions that time out.

Uploads screened

Only PDFs and images; files that carry scripts or embedded content are refused.

Signed by the sender

Each document is signed by the sending company's authorised signatory.

Companies verified

Registration, licences and signatories checked before a company shows as verified.

Suppliers screened

Against sanctions lists every morning.

Only what is sent

Each company sees its own shipments; customs sees only files sent to its post.

Every action logged

Who did what and when, including every time a file is opened.

Data residency

Data is stored in accordance with regional data residency requirements.

Recognised in law

Electronic documents and signatures are recognised under Kuwait's Law No. 20 of 2014 on electronic transactions.
